Brilliant so far

"I couldn't decide whether I really needed a food processor, as I was surviving with other bits of kitchen equipment. Which review persuaded me to give this a try and I'm glad I did. Only had for a few weeks, but it is amazingly quick and efficient and gives total control over slicing, julienne, etc. Easy to clean for what I've done so far. I love the box for all the attachments as everything stays ready to use. Love it!"

Gee Wizz

"What a treat compared to previous high end (Magimix) processors from start to finish. The design of the solid and positive attachment of the lid is a great starting point. Performance of the dual bladed chopping blade is awesome, and dismantling for cleaning couldn't be easier. Finally, the design of the attachment container is also well thought out. The ease of use and great performance of the Wizz Pro has resulted in us actually using the processor more frequently.
Conclusion: This well designed, well made processor with a great performance is a joy to use. Also, the superior build quality gives great confidence of a long working life."

A Quality Processor!

"I bought this to replace a cheap Kenwood Processor that was only a year old and after multiple cracks, scratching, staining, clouding and leaks eventually decided to start eating itself in a valiant bid put itself out of it's own misery.

After researching reviews it appeared that this was the must have processor. However it was more than I was willing to spend. However I have never regretted buying quality, and my experience with the cheap Kenwood was a reminder of this principal. The offer of a free Risotto/Multi/Slow cooker to accompany it was the offer that finally helped me make the decision to buy.

I've had the Wizz Pro for two days. It outperforms the Kenwood on everything I've tried so far. It is an absolute joy to use as I now don't live in terror that it will shake itself apart whenever I use it as I experienced with the Kenwood.

The build quality is incredibly high. It is rugged, sturdy, fast, safe and powerful.

I fully expect my decision to invest in a quality processor at long last will pay off in the long term.

My 40 year old Robot-chef

" Is too old for replacement parts. Oh my gosh, my little workhorse has served my large family so very well over the years, but the old dear just had to go. It has taken a lot of heart searching and hours of internet 'reviewing' to reach a decision. I'm coming up for 80 years old and wondered if it was worth bothering at all, but I love cooking and am getting to dislike all the manual preparation - so I took the plunge and bought the Whizz Pro. I am absolutely delighted! The quality of the machine is superb, a joy to handle. I couldn't resist trying out all the attachments and apart from the chips being too small for my liking (I like them chunky). Everything is well designed, including the attachment storage box and feels very sturdy. My granddaughter asked me to make her 18th birthday cake and I've been so inspired (again) that I chose a new recipe and made a very successful chocolate beetroot cake. Everyone really enjoyed it. "The best cake I've ever had" Thanks Whizz Pro for everything!!"

Superior bit of kit

"This was a Christmas purchase to see what a modern blender can do. So far very pleased. A well-thought out, beautifully made system that is capable of processing both smaller and large quantities of food. The adjustable slicer is particularly impressive, easy to use and accurate. Be very careful of the four-blade slicer; super fast, super sharp. One drawback is that most of the fittings are not dishwasher-proof. Expensive but good value. "

Wizz Pro

"I bought this machine to replace a Kitchen Aid processor that was very rarely used (and only a few years old too).
It was a big investment, given the relatively recent purchase of the previous processor and one I thought long and hard about. I'm so glad I made the decision to buy. In just a couple of weeks I have used it more than the previous machine. Everything has been well thought out, even the spatula which deserves its own review.
The Wizz Pro is robust and solid without being clumpy. It's not the sexiest of processors, admittedly, but it's far from being the ugliest too. It has a compact footprint and needs to be left out on the work surface being too heavy to put away in a cupboard. Check the clearance if you have overhead cupboards. It is taller than my previous processor and only just fits underneath for storage. I bring it forward when in use.
The main bowl is particularly well designed, being completely enclosed at the bottom. Previous processor bowls I have used have a funnel in the base through which the blade attachment protudes, and taking the bowl off to, for example, add an ingredient and weigh directly into the bowl was not an option. With this machine it's possible, thereby reducing washing up.
I have also been used to food being thrown up against the lid when processing and large chunks of food remaining between the discs and the lid when shredding or slicing. Not with this machine. When processing the lid remains clean of any contents, and almost every last bit of food is sliced or grated.
The adjustable slicing disc is wonderful and so easy to use. Check out the videos if you haven't seen that in action. Amazing. I can't be the only person to slice a carrot in every available size, can I?
Just one small niggle - I have noticed that on occassion when I take out the large feed tube to add an ingredient as soon as the feeder is put back the processor starts even though I have not pressed any buttons. I have got into the habit of turning off the power when removing the large feed tube, but I don't think this should be necessary.
That said - I have no regrets about purchasing this machine. It is a joy to use and l look forward to using it frequently.

My Kitchen Shard ... the sharp edge of technology!

"I really love cooking but have always been a bit of a traditionalist and control freak in cutting/chopping/stirring/whisking everything by hand thinking the only way to get perfection is by trusting my own eye to hand contact and timing! My favourite cookery programme is Saturday Kitchen and I have to say I do love the way James Martin throws everything into his giant sturdy efficient and quiet processor, saves loads of time and reaps perfectly prepped ingredients... I kept taping the programme and on slow motion tried to work out what processor he uses so I could get one for myself... after all if James trusts it then I should too! I couldn't work out what James has, So I searched the net and the best looking piece of kit I could find looked like the Sage Kitchen Wizz Pro ... who knows it could even possibly be the one James Martin uses... although maybe not as he and Heston are competitors after all!! ... Maybe Sage can confirm if it is the same item or not??
Anyway I took the bull by the horns and bought one a month ago and have to say am totally blown away by it... firstly it is the most beautiful piece of kitchen furniture you could ever possibly have on display, it's my ktchen's take on "The Shard"!... every visitor eyes it with envy! It is so fabulously well made, heavy and robust with the most amazing accessories and does every job efficiently and easily. There are so many well thought out design features like the quad blade, with safety cover to put in the dishwasher, the internal smaller bowl saves washing up when multiple product processing, the dough blade is superb for pastry, the whisk blade ... well how does it do that?? .. but the end product sublime texture without a lump after less than a minute! the huge chute and the safety features are all brilliant...
I have to say though I am disappointed about one thing, and from that point of view I wonder if I might have a faulty product ... The reviews I've read wax lyrically about how quiet it is... and I have to say I think mine is rather noisy ... simple jobs like blending pea soup (cooked in stock, not frozen), and making pastry dough ... for sure the machine is incredibly powerful and efficient in doing the job, but there are a few decibels there! I'd be interested to hear another machine doing the same jobs to check...Having said that I still wouldn't change it for the world, absolutely love it! "
